Finding the back of the net a season-best six times for her fourth-straight hat trick and seventh multi-goal outing of the season, Easton tacked on a trio of assists to finish with a season-best nine points in Mercyhurst’s 16-7 win at Central Connecticut on Saturday (March 21). The nine tallies are the most recorded by an NEC player in a game this season, while the six goals are the second-most in the league. In addition to her contributions on the Lakers’ attacking line, Easton added a team- and season-best six draw controls to her stat line. With her team trailing by a 2-0 count, she ignited a 6-0 spurt with her first goal of the game before she capped that run with an assist to teammate Maggie Sheehan. In a dominant second half that saw Mercyhurst hold a 9-3 advantage in scoring, she found the back of the net five times. The Honeoye Falls, NY native leads the conference with 3.43 goals per game while her 4.14 points per game and 24 total scores are good for second and third in the league, respectively.
