In Stonehill’s 6-0 win over Maryland Eastern Shore on Saturday, Douglas pitched 8.0 shutout innings to earn his first win of the season on the mound. The graduate righty allowed five hits and walked just one batter. He also rifled off a pair of strikeouts, while allowing an opposing batting average of .192 after facing 28 UMES batters. Douglas led the Skyhawks to the program’s first shutout since April 2025.Stonehill, now, sits at 2-1 in league play. This is the fifth consecutive season a Stonehill hurler has earned NEC Pitcher of the Week honors.
