McInaw’s season-best effort in scoring led FDU past Austin Peay by an 11-6 final in non-conference action on Saturday. Opening the scoring with the game’s first goal less than two minutes after first draw, the senior midfielder made it three-straight goals for the Knights to knot up the score at 3-3 early in the second quarter. McInaw’s final marker — an unassisted tally with 5:04 left in the third — provided FDU with a 7-5 cushion headed down the final stretch. In addition to her offensive performance, the Keystone State product was also a force to be reckoned with on defense, causing a season-best four turnovers while collecting three ground balls. She is the first FDU player this year to garner NEC Player of the Week accolades.
