Jones became the first NEC freshman to rack up back-to-back Influxer/NEC Rookie of the Week awards on Monday. The guard had a hot hand from behind the arc for the Blue Devils as he combined to drain 57.1 percent of his attempts (4-of-7) to lead his team to a 2-0 week. A native of North Babylon, NY, Jones had an extremely efficient outing at New Haven on Thursday. Knocking down 4-of-5 triples, he racked up 12 points to establish a new career high in a Central Connecticut uniform. On the year, Jones, who has logged time in 19 games, is averaging 4.6 points per game on 41.7 percent shooting from the field. This is his third Influxer/NEC Rookie of the Week award of the 2025-26 campaign.
