Claiming her third Influxer/NEC Rookie of the Week and first since December 1, Crosby held down the frontcourt for FDU as the defending conference champs continued their perfect start to league play. The freshman forward stood out in the Knights’ 84-64 win over Mercyhurst as she netted 17 points, corralled 11 boards and swatted three shots while going 8-of-12 from the field. The Plainfield, NJ native finished the weekend averaging 11.0 points, 7.5 rebounds, 2.0 blocks and 1.0 assist per game along with a 62.5 clip from the field. Crosby leads all NEC rookies in rebounding (5.9), field goal percentage (41.5), blocks (0.8) and offensive rebounds (2.5). The Knights are 12-0 in conference play and sit atop the NEC standings. FDU has, now, won 31 consecutive NEC regular season games and 35 straight against league opponents – including postseason victories. Crosby's three Influxer/NEC Rookie of the Week accolades are the second-most among the league's freshmen this season.
