Clay earns his league-leading fourth NEC Swimmer of the Week honor after an outstanding performance in Le Moyne's emphatic 204-92 win over Canisius. The sophomore set three pool records and registered two CSCAA B cut times against their Western New York foe. Individually, Clay won the 100 and 200 breast events with 54.79 and 2:00.37 marks respectively. Both results were pool records and CSCAA B cut efforts. His 100 breast time is the third fastest in the conference this season, while his 200 breast mark is the league's fastest. The Baldwinsville, NY native also contributed to Dolphins wins in the 400 medley relay and 200 free relay, with the former squad setting a pool record of 3:22.52.
