Earning his third NEC Field Athlete of the Week award of the year, Ruffin showed out once again in the high jump. The reigning NEC high jump champion cleared 2.11m to finish on the top step of the podium at the Dr. Sander Scorcher/Columbia Challenge. His gold medal-winning height is tied for second in the conference rankings is tied for 41st among all Division I jumpers.
