McGee registered a pair of 20-point outings during Chicago State’s homestand over the weekend. The sophomore guard averaged 22.5 points, 3.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 2.0 steals per game in a 1-1 week for the Cougars. McGee dropped 20 points off 7-of-11 shooting in a 73-64 win over Saint Francis on Thursday night. The Milwaukee native followed that performance up with a 25-point showing during a nail-biting 77-76 setback against Mercyhurst on Saturday, while dropping four dimes. On the week, she shot an efficient 62.9 percent on field goals from the field. McGee is the only Cougar this season to score 20 or more points in back-to-back contests this season. Joining her teammate Aiyanna Culver, McGee is the second Chicago State athlete to be tabbed NEC Player of the Week during the 2025-26 campaign.
