Davenport set a new personal record in the high jump over the weekend while competing at the YSU Collegiate Invite. The sophomore jumper cleared 2.11m to earn the gold medal at the Youngstown State-hosted meet. Davenport’s height is just .04 meters behind the NEC’s event leader as FDU’s Ethan Ruffin owns a season-best of 2.15m. The Madison, IL native is also tied for 31st in all of NCAA Division I.
