Competing at both the Wagner Invitational and NYC Gotham Cup last week, Masai did it all on the track. The sophomore won the 800m with a NEC-best 1:53.15 time at the NYC Gotham Cup. Masai added a fourth-place finish at the Wagner-hosted meet in the 500m run with a personal record of 1:05.29, which currently sits at fifth on the NEC performance list. Additionally, he ran a leg of the Sharks’ Distance Medley Relay as LIU placed fourth at NYC Gotham Cup with a 10:48.76 time.
