Brewton showed out at the Wisconsin Badger Midwest Invite in both the jumping pits and on the track. The rookie took home a pair of silver medals by clearing 1.65 meters in the high jump and leaping a personal record of 5.55m in the long jump. Her high jump height is tied for first in the conference, while her long jump distance sits at fourth among NEC athletes. Brewton added a personal-best 8.10 finish in the 60m dash. Chicago State has, now, had a NEC Rookie of the Week in back-to-back seasons.
