Earning his first NEC Track Athlete of the Week award and second NEC Rookie of the Week accolade, Grant made his mark at the Spartan Invitational last week. The rookie sprinter won the 200-meter dash with a conference-best and new personal record of 21.47 seconds, which ranks 30th in NCAA Division I. Grant also ran as part of Wagner’s 4x200m relay team that clocked a 1:27.96 finish on the top step of the podium. The Piscataway, NJ native is the first Seahawk to earn multiple NEC Rookie of the Week accolades in the same season since Jack Mason claimed five during the 2023-24 season.
