The senior forward averaged 25.5 points, 12.0 rebounds, 4.5 assists, 3.0 steals and 2.0 blocks per game all while shooting 60.0 percent from the field. Toure notched a pair of double-doubles last weekend, which are her sixth and seventh of the season. The Silver Spring, MD native nearly registered a triple-double in LIU’s 15-point win at Saint Francis with 22 points, 10 rebounds and seven dimes. Her performances over the weekend marked her fifth and sixth games with at least 20 points and 10 boards in a game, making her one of four players nationwide to register six or more such outings this season. Toure leads the league in scoring (19.7), rebounding (10.6) and blocks (1.4). Her 19.7 ppg and 10.7 rpg rank 21st and 16th in the country, respectively. The Sharks are currently riding a five-game winning streak and are out to a 4-0 start in conference play for the first time since 2002. This marks Toure’s second NEC Player of the Week award of the 2025-26 campaign, becoming the first LIU player to earn the honor more than once in a season since Brandy Thomas during the 2019-20 season.
