Ford cleared a conference-best 3.45m in the pole vault to place second out of 22 competitors at the Seahawk Shootout last week. The freshman finished just 0.15m off the gold medal winner. Ford was able to best her previous season-best of 3.25m in just her second collegiate meet. The Johnstown, PA native's NEC Rookie of the Week honor was the first for a Red Flash student-athlete since Sydney Rush was recognized on December, 7, 2023.
