Teel highlighted the Chargers explosive DI debut in the field events last week. The senior won the triple jump at two separate meets including the Yale Season Opener and the Fastrack Season Opener. Teel leaped 11.93 meters at the Yale-hosted event to earn the top spot on the podium and on the NEC performance list. Her 11.93m mark is tied for 37th in the nation. The Willow Grove, PA native added a 11.87m triple jump distance at the Fastrack Season Opener to win the event, while finishing fifth in the long jump with a 5.27m mark, which is third in the conference. Teel is the first New Haven athlete to be tabbed NEC Field Athlete of the Week.
