Culver picked up right where she left off after a dazzling 2024-25 freshman campaign. Averaging 22.3 points per game last week, the sophomore guard’s three performances were highlighted by a 33-point outing in Chicago State’s 59-54 win over Winthrop on Wednesday. Culver drained four three-pointers in the win, while shooting an efficient 11-16 from the field. The Preseason All-NEC pick added an 18-point performance in CSU's season opener at Cleveland State along with scoring 16 on the road against No. 15 Notre Dame to close out the week. Culver was one of seven NCAA DI players to score 33 or more points in a game during the opening week of the season. The All-NEC second team honoree added four steals while 2.67 three-pointers and 2.0 rebounds per game last week. Culver also went 15-18 from the charity stripe. A five-time NEC Rookie of the Week last season, the Queens, NY native earnedher first NEC Player of the Week award.
