Last Week’s Stats: .206 hitting percentage, 2.70 points/set, 2.40 kills/set, 1.20 digs/set
New Haven put together a 2-1 week that included a sweep of conference member Le Moyne thanks in part to the stellar play of Avent. During the three-match stretch, the Garden State right-side hitter/outside hitter combined for 24 kills while adding 12 digs, a pair of blocks and two service aces to that count. She delivered 11 kills in the Chargers’ defeat to then-undefeated LIU on Wednesday (Oct. 29) before she tacked on 13 more kills in the two wins over the Dolphins. In addition, Avent added a pair of service aces in Saturday’s triumph, a 3-1 final that secured New Haven’s first sweep of an NEC opponent since joining the league for the 2025 campaign. She is the first Charger to take home NEC/Molten Rookie of the Week accolades this season.
