Piccoli put together a pair of top-three finishes for FDU last month, including tying for first out of 66 golfers at the Lehigh Invitational. The freshman shot a 142 (2-under) on his way to his first championship as a Knight. His 70 (-2) in round one and 72 (E) helped FDU tie for second out of 12 teams. At the Bucknell Invitational, the Italy native tied for third out of 112 competitors after shooting 2-over with a 212 (72-71-69), while finishing just three strokes off the pace. FDU tied for ninth out of 19 teams. Piccoli was the only NEC golfer to claim a tournament title in October.
