Tasbasi delivered a great performance in LIU's dual meet with Manhattan on Saturday and helped guide the Sharks to a 171-83 victory in their season opener in Brooklyn. The junior posted victories in all four events he swam, winning the 100 breast and 200 breast, and contributing legs in the 200 medley relay and 400 free relay. Tasbasi posted conference-best times in the 100 breast (56.13) and 200 breast (2:03.89). He also registered a 50 breast time of 25.20 in the second leg of the 200 medley relay.
