Napier continued her impressive start to her collegiate career by qualifying for the CSCAA National Invitational Championships in the 50 fly. The freshman won the event at the Osprey Beach Splash Invitational after clocking a conference-best time of 25.00. Napier further impressed with a runner-up finish in the 100 free at 52.11. She capped off her day by beating her time in that event when she led off the 400 free relay with a time of 51.80. That time is good for second in the NEC. Napier also finished second in the 100 free at the Battle of the Burr.
