Franklin shined on the course this September as she finished the month with a 74.0 stroke average through eight rounds. The senior started out with a second-place finish at the Bridgestone Collegiate Invite after shooting a 4-over 220 (75-72-73), while guiding the Bison to a second-place finish in the team standings. At the John Imes Invite hosted by Mizzou, Franklin came in tied for 18th in a loaded field of 81 golfers that featured talent from the likes of Mizzou, Kentucky and Cincinnati. The Los Angeles native shot 4-over 148 (76-72) as Howard ranked seventh of 14 teams. Additionally, Franklin posted a 28th-place finish after shooting 14-over 224 (74-77-73) at the individual Jackson T. Stephens Cup.
