Ross became the first rookie this season to be named the NEC Pitcher of the Week. Also earning the NEC Rookie of the Week award, the Friendship, NY native had a stellar week inside the circle against FDU to help Le Moyne clinch its first regular series of the 2025 campaign. Making her first start of the week in Friday’s nightcap, Ross conceded just one run to help the Dolphins bounce back from an opening-game defeat and level up the series at one game apiece by way of a 7-1 victory. The hurler earned the start in the series finale on Saturday, and she did not disappoint. Keeping FDU off the scoreboard for the entire seven innings while scattering just four hits, Ross picked up her ninth win and earned her second shutout of the season in the Dolphins’ 1-0 victory. Ross is the first Le Moyne player this season to take home the NEC Pitcher of the Week award.
