Givens delivered an explosive offensive performance at LIU on Saturday to take home her first NEC Player of the Week award this season. The junior midfielder had a career day after she poured in six goals, including the game-tying score with 15 seconds left that forced overtime in the eventual 11-10 defeat. Three of her scores were go-ahead tallies for the Red Flash, while her fifth goal, which came at the 11:12 mark of regulation, made it a 9-7 advantage. The Elverson, PA native’s six-goal outing is tied for the most scores in a league game in 2025. Givens, who has scored at least one goal in each of her past six outings, is tied for second on the team with 29 goals. She is the third Red Flash player to garner NEC Player of the Week honors this season, joining two-time winner Elizabeth Garcia (Feb. 24, April 14).
