Mavlios became the first FDU freshman this season to garner NEC Rookie of the Week honors. The attacker combined for four goals in a pair of games for the Knights at Charlotte and Winthrop. Finding the back of the net on each of her three shot attempts for her first career hat trick against the 49ers on Wednesday, Mavlios closed out her week with another score on Saturday against the Eagles. The Glen Head, NY native has now registered at least one goal in each of her past three games this season. With eight goals on the year, she adds a pair of assists for 10 points, which is good for third-most among fellow Knights.
