Dillabough’s offensive explosion in the first nine minutes of the second quarter helped propel FDU to a 12-11 win at La Salle on Saturday afternoon. Striking three times during that stretch as part of a Knights’ 6-0 run, the Syracuse, NY native put her team up by an 11-3 count with 6:19 left to play until halftime. On the afternoon, Dillabough finished with five goals, which matched a career-best mark set during her rookie season against Delaware State. Tacking on two assists, she closed out the game with a career-high seven points. With a team-leading seven goals, which ranks first among all NEC players, the sophomore attacker leads FDU in scoring with nine points. This is Dillabough’s first NEC Player of the Week honor.
