McInaw had a stat-stuffer of a game in FDU’s 12-11 road win at Lafayette on Saturday. A midfielder/attacker from Kresgeville, PA, she accompanied her ninth career hat trick and a seven draw control effort with a stellar defensive effort that featured three ground balls and a season-high three caused turnovers. McInaw struck once in the opening stanza for the Knights, who held a 5-3 advantage at the end of the quarter. Tacking on two more scores in the second quarter, which saw the FDU lead balloon to 11-3, she completed her first hat trick of the season during that stretch. McInaw enters the week as the Knights’ leader in caused turnovers (5), ground balls (5) and draw controls (11). Her 5.50 draw controls per game and 2.5 caused turnovers per contest are good for second and third in the league, respectively. This is McInaw’s second career NEC weekly award, as she was pegged the NEC Rookie of the Week on March 27, 2023.
