Claiming her third NEC Rookie of the Week award, Mabry was key in the No. 22 Knights taking home the Mount Shootout title last week. The freshman led the conference in strike percentage (.617) and average first ball (9.43) as FDU registered a 10-1 mark at the meet. Mabry also rolled the second-best filled frame percentage (.915) and ranked third in overall frame average (22.04), Baker frame average (22.14) and split leave percentage (4.3) among all NEC bowlers. The 22nd-ranked Knights notched triumphs over No. 12 Sacred Heart, host No. 16 Mount St. Mary’s, No. 21 Delaware State, No. 24 Merrimack, RV Mercyhurst, Saint Anselm, Bryant, Emmanuel (GA) and Dominican (NY). FDU bested NEC rival RV Niagara in the best-of-seven Baker championship match, 4-1. Mabry’s third NEC Rookie of the Week selection tied her for the league-lead this season with Monmouth’s Kailyn Bloch.
