Ireland clocked a conference-best 1:52.05 in the 800m at the Bruce Leahane Scarlet & White Invitational hosted by Boston University. The senior distance runner finished 24th among a stacked field that consisted of professional runners and elite collegiate athletes. This marked Ireland’s third career NEC Track Athlete of the Week award on the indoor circuit and first of the season.
