Hatton is off to a hot start for the Dolphins after going 3-1 in singles play and a perfect 3-0 in doubles play. Competing from the top spot, the reigning NEC Player of the Year notched singles wins against conferences foes Binghamton and Saint Francis U. The Syracuse, NY native took down the Bearcats' William Morais Binnie (6-2, 6-3) and the Red Flash's Tyler Nguyen (6-2, 6-1), both of whom earned first team All-NEC recognition last spring. Hatton also defeated DePaul’s Matteo Iaquinto, a unanimous All-BIG EAST first team pick and the 2024 BIG EAST Championship Most Outstanding Player, in straight sets (6-1, 6-3). Hatton and his doubles partner, Adrian Daniel, claimed No. 1 doubles wins against the Bearcats (6-4), Red Flash (6-1) and Blue Demons (7-6). The Dolphins sit at 2-2 to start off the spring.
