Lotlikar has shined thus far for the reigning NEC champions to kick off the spring season. In Binghamton’s first six matches, the junior posted a 5-1 singles record from the second spot, including the Bearcats’ lone singles win against BYU. Lotlikar defeated the Cougars’ Wally Thayne - who was an ITA-ranked player last season - in straight sets (7-6 (7-1), 7-6 (7-1)). The All-NEC singles second team pick also notched solo wins over opponents from Colgate, Le Moyne, Niagara and Saint Francis U. Three of his singles victories came in straight sets (BYU, Colgate and Niagara). Paired with William Morais Binnie, Lotlikar earned a 6-3 decision in No.1 doubles against the St. John’s duo of Max Amling and Armando Sotelo. Binghamton is off to a 3-3 dual match start for the spring season.
