In just his fourth collegiate meet, Ekoko set a trio of personal-bests and top-four marks in the NEC. Competing at the Metropolitan Indoor Championships, the freshman took home the gold in the triple jump with a 14.44m mark, which is the second-best jump in the conference and ranks 182nd nationally this season. Ekoko added a third-place finish in the long jump after leaping 6.91m. The Easton, PA native also cleared 1.94m in the high jump to finish fourth in competition. Both his long jump and high jump marks rank fourth in the conference. Ekoko is the first Knight to collect a weekly award on the men’s side this season.
