Gulycz launched the shot put 16.00m to place eighth at the Nittany Lion Challenge hosted by Penn State over the weekend. His throw is second in the NEC only to his toss of 16.21m at the Bison Opener in December. This marked the second time Gulycz has earned NEC Men’s Rookie of the Week honors during the 2024-25 campaign.
