The NEC Most Outstanding Rookie last season impressed at the Seahawk Shootout in the second meet of his sophomore campaign. Mason jumped 7.25m in the long jump to place first at the meet and now owns the top distance in the league. The sophomore’s long jump ranks 28th among all NCAA Division I jumpers. This marked Mason’s second career NEC Field Athlete of the Week selection. He previously took home the award on December 12, 2023.
