In its first-ever NEC bowling meet, Mercyhurst finished tied for the top spot in the NEC standings with a 9-3 record. Whitehead was the top-performing Laker at the meet and was among the best in the conference with a 19.37 overall average and 20.05 Baker average. The senior tied for the fourth-best fill percentage (.831) and sum of 9CT spare percentage (.923). Her 187.17 at last week’s conference competition ranked fifth among all bowlers. The Lakers claimed victories against No. 20 FDU, No. 25 Niagara, RV Monmouth, Wagner and LIU.
