Garnering her first Swimmer of the Week award, Posada had a strong showing at the NJIT Invitational. The sophomore's impressive performance landed her a first place spot in all three indivudal events she competed in. Cloccking an NEC-Best 56.65 in the 100 backstroke, the Houston, TX native produced yet another NEC-Best time of 2:07.14 in the 200 backstroke. Finishing the 100 butterfly in 57.26, Posada now ranks first in the league for all three events. In the 200 Medley Relay, the sophomore swam the leadoff leg in the 50 backstroke and recorded an NEC-Best and CSCAA-B cut qualifer time of 26.18.
