Last Week’s Stats: .692 hitting percentage, 4.00 points per set, 3.00 kills per set, 1.67 blocks per set, 1.33 digs per set
Nott’s efficient performance against Saint Peter’s resulted in the outside hitter becoming the first NEC women’s volleyball player to take home an award from the NEC in back-to-back weeks this season. The reigning NEC/Molten Player of the Week averaged 4.00 points and 3.00 kills against the Peacocks to lead FDU to a straight-set victory, and its fourth-straight triumph. Most impressively, Nott, who hails from Rockwell, TX, hit at .692 clip on the evening after delivering nine kills with zero miscues in 13 total attempts. That attack percentage ties LIU’s Bria Plante for the best mark by an NEC player in a match this season. In addition, Nott racked up five-or-more blocks for the fourth-straight match after she accounted for five of the Knights’ seven rejections on the day. Nott enters league play ranked second in blocks per set (0.83), second in blocks (39) and third in hitting percentage (.310).
