Narvaiz was a key factor to a successful LIU weekend that featured a sweep of Le Moyne in the Sharks’ final regular-season series of the 2024 campaign. Posting a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage, the sophomore second baseman registered a .500/.556/1.125 slash line to propel the postseason-bound Sharks to the three wins. Slamming a home run while lacing a pair of doubles, Narvaiz added four RBI and scored two times during that stretch. The Albuquerque native had a big game in Saturday’s opener. Knocking a pair of doubles, she accounted for half of LIU’s scoring in an 8-0 win after she crossed home once and drove in three runs. In Saturday’s series finale, Narvaiz added an insurance run in the sixth frame with a home run to make it a 6-3 lead heading down the stretch. Amongst league leaders, she is tied for third in doubles (12) and is second in sacrifice flies (4). This is Narvaiz’s first NEC Player of the Week honor this season.
