Fernando became the first Le Moyne player to earn NEC Rookie of the Week honors with a combined 2-0 singles and doubles record last week. The freshman won her #3 singles match in straight sets (6-3,6-2) against Stonehill's Anneliese Beltran. Paired with Isabella Barona, Fernando also helped the Dolphins earn a point with a 6-1 doubles win against the Skyhawks' Alice Brito Do Rio and Jenna Gustafson in #2 flight play. Le Moyne won the conference dual match, 5-2.
