After an impressive indoor debut that culminated in a Most Outstanding Rookie honor in February, Fernandez continued to shine in her first outdoor meet for the Seahawks. The freshman sprinter set a new Wagner program record as she clocked in a 24.82 in the 200m to finish 27th out of 100 competitors at the UCF Invite last week. Additionally, her 200m time currently ranks first in the league.
