Competing at the UCF Invite last week, Gallagher set a new Merrimack program record in the javelin with a 66.40m mark. The senior’s distance earned him third at the meet and is the best throw in the league so far in the young season. The Kingston, MA native currently ranks 36th in the event among all NCAA Division I throwers.
