Thanks to another offensive explosion backed by timely scoring, Fisher takes home the NEC Player of the Week award for the second time this season. The sophomore attacker notched her second five-goal effort of the season, including the go-ahead score, to help Saint Francis U take down Wagner for just the third time in program history. Ending a seven-game skid against their NEC foe from Staten Island, the Red Flash improved to 2-1 in conference play, which ties the 2010 and the 2021 squads for the best start to the league slate in program history. Fisher, the reigning NEC Rookie of the Year, provided Saint Francis U with a lead on three occasions, but it was her fourth score with 1:32 left in the third that put the Red Flash up for good. She went on to provide the Red Flash with a two-goal cushion with her final score, which came with 10:20 left to play in the fourth quarter. Also named to the 2023 All-NEC Second Team a year ago, Fisher, who hails from Duxbury, MA, leads the team with 24 goals and nine assists for 33 points. She rides a seven-game multi-goal scoring streak into the final week of March.
