Crandall garners NEC Defensive Player of the Week honors for the first time this season after she delivered a lockdown performance between the posts to keep Le Moyne’s undefeated record against conference competitors intact. The Adams, NY native registered seven saves on 22 shots faced and posted a .500 save percentage to pace the Dolphins to their third consecutive one-goal victory in NEC play by way of an 8-7 decision at Merrimack on Saturday. In conference contests, the fifth-year netminder owns a 7.86 goals-against average, which is good for fourth in the circuit, while her 9.67 rejections per contest are good for second. Crandall joins teammate Lily Locastro, a three-time NEC Defensive Player of the Week honoree, in earning the distinction this season.
