Ross became the second Seahawk to take home NEC Rookie of the Week honors after Wagner posted a 4-1 record last week. Ross scored 11 runs over five games while hitting .429 with a .692 on-base percentage. The freshman outfielder drew nine walks, was hit three times and at one point reached base in ten straight at-bats. Ross also wreaked havoc on the basepaths with five stolen bases. The Newington, CT native helped lead the Seahawks to a weekend series sweep over conference foe Coppin State. He scored eight of his 11 runs against the Eagles.
