Ulam slashed .636/.636/.818 to lead Saint Francis U to a sweep of Le Moyne in the start of NEC play this past weekend. The junior infielder was dialed in during the three-game stretch, as she collected multiple hits and had at least one RBI in each of the victories. Most impressively, in 11 at-bats, Ulam did not strike out at all for the Red Flash. Combining to go 5-for-8 while crossing home three times in Saturday’s doubleheader sweep, a stretch that saw Saint Francis U outscore its counterpart by a 15-6 margin, Ulam doubled twice, drove in two runs and scored one time to lead the Red Flash to an 8-0, five-inning win on Sunday. The Keystone State product enters the week tied for first in the conference in RBI (20), while her 20 runs leads all NEC batters. This is her second NEC Player of the Week award, as she first earned the honor on Feb. 27.
