DeCarolis posted two lockdown performances between the pipes last week to help Wagner jump out to a 2-0 start in NEC play. The Ridley, PA native picked up the first two wins of her young career after she held conference foes Merrimack and Central Connecticut to a combined 10 goals in 81 minutes of work. During that stretch, DeCarolis calculated a 7.41 goals-against average and a .833 save percentage. Her first career victory came by way of a 13-11 triumph against the Warriors that saw her allow just two scores and turn away five shots in 30 minutes of work. Three days later, DeCarolis recorded nine save and allowed eight goals in 50:53 minutes to lead the Seahawks past the Blue Devils by way of a 19-11 decision. In four appearances, DeCarolis is ranked second in the NEC in goals-against average (9.53) and fourth in save percentage (.474). DeCarolis is the first Wagner player to take home NEC Rookie of the Week honors this season.
