Fisher stuffed the stat sheet to lead Saint Francis U past Robert Morris, 15-9, for the Red Flash’s first win of the 2024 season on Wednesday. Striking three times for a hat trick inside the game’s first 12:11, the sophomore attacker finished the game with five goals while adding one assist, two ground balls, one caused turnover and a career-best seven draw controls. Included in her first-quarter flurry of scores was the go-ahead tally that put Saint Francis U in front for good at the 6:39 mark. The victory snapped Robert Morris’ 13-game winning streak against the Red Flash, as Saint Francis U’s lone win in the series with the former NEC member came in the inaugural meeting back in 2005. With her second-straight six-point effort, the Duxbury, MA native is fourth in the circuit in points with 4.67 per game. In addition, her 3.00 goals per game are tied with teammate Lizzie Fisher for fourth in the conference. Fisher is the first Saint Francis U player to garner NEC Player of the Week distinction this season.
