Shroyer becomes the first FDU player this season to garner a weekly award, as she double-dipped by earning both NEC Co-Pitcher of the Week and Rookie of the Week honors. The San Dimas, CA native was stellar inside the circle, and thanks to her arm, she led the Knights to three victories this past weekend. Earning the 1-0 shutout victory behind a three-hitter, Shroyer struck out 17 batters, the most by an NCAA Division I player this season. She also posted a complete-game effort against Bucknell on Saturday, a 3-2 win, before she came out of the bullpen on Sunday to record the final four outs in FDU's 7-6 walk-off victory against Bucknell. On the week, the hurler struck out 27 batters and posted allowed two earned runs in 15.1 innings for a 1.19 ERA.
