Now a two-time NEC Swimmer of the Week and five-time NEC Rookie of the Week, Luoto was the top performer for the Seahawks against Stony Brook on Saturday picking up a pair of gold medals in her individual events. The rookie from Raisio, Finland swam 58.83 in the 100-yard individual medley securing the top NEC time by about 2.5 seconds. Luoto stood atop the podium in the 300-yard freestyle touching the wall in 3:02.62 followed by a silver finish in the 200-yard medley relay with a split time of 29.43 and team time of 1:49.43.
