Pryor strung together two impressive performances once again to garner NEC Player of the Week honors for a league-best sixth time this season. Riding the coattails of the Baltimore native’s sensational play, Sacred Heart posted a 2-0 week after cruising past LIU on Thursday (70-55) and FDU in a rematch of last year’s NEC Championship game on Saturday (68-51). With the victories, the Pios improved to 6-1 against NEC competitors for the 13th time in program history, and they retained their first-place status, which they share with first-year member Le Moyne. On the week, Pryor averaged 20.0 points, 7.5 rebounds, 6.0 assists and 5.5 steals per game. The guard got her week going with an efficient outing against the Sharks. Converting on 10-of-13 shots from the field for a sizzling 76.9 percent clip, she racked up a game-high 22 points. It marked her league-best eighth 20-point game this season. Pryor was just as impressive in Saturday’s tilt against the Knights. Pouring in 18 points, she came painstakingly close to posting her second career triple-double after she racked up nine rebounds and nine assists. In addition, she came away with a season-high six takeaways to put a bow on another stat-stuffing, all-around performance. Netting double figures in all 26 of her career games against NEC opponents, she is the league’s top scorer in league play this season with 18.7 points per contest. Pryor continues to lead the conference in nearly every statistical category, including scoring (17.5 ppg), assists (4.57 apg), steals (3.33 spg), free throws 96), free throw attempts (128) and assist-to-turnover ratio (2.09). She also checks in at fourth in rebounding (6.8 rpg), fifth in field goal percentage (.443) and free throw percentage (.750). Among the nation’s leaders, Pryor is fourth in steals (70), seventh in steals per game, 12th in free throws, 17th in free throw attempts, 40th in points (367) and 56th in assists (96).
