Paquette turned in a career-best outing against Fairfield on Saturday to garner Rookie of the Week honors for the first time in her career. The 5-foot-8 guard shot 44.4 percent from the field (4-of-9) and 71.4 percent from the charity stripe (5-of-7) to lead all Skyhawks with a personal-best 14 points in the setback to the Stags, who entered the week ranked 18th in the College Insider Mid-Major Poll and 72nd in the NCAA Net rankings. Scoring 10 of her points in the second half, Paquette added two assists and a steal to her stat line in Stonehill’s final non-conference game of the 2023-24 slate. The Hudson, NH native has now scored in double figures three times this season with a 13-point effort at DePaul on Nov. 9 and an 11-point outing against New Hampshire on Dec. 6. With the honor, Paquette also becomes the first Skyhawk in program history to earn Rookie of the Week distinction.
